If you are transferring your phone service from another provider, it is recommended that you first call them to inquire about contractual obligations. You may be “required” to provide them a termination notice. This will help you make your decision whether or not to provide the required notice, or transfer the service for the first available date.

Remember that if you are transferring your phone service, TekSavvy will cancel your existing phone service with your current provider on your behalf, but will not be responsible for any fees that may occur from the cancellation.

As of October 1st 2009, TekSavvy will be registered with the Province of Quebec, and in accordance with tax laws will be obligated to start collecting QST. This will only affect our phone and long distance products as these services are provided and used within Quebec.
